Embassy Suites Wilmington Weddings | Emely + Drew

Last weekend we officially kicked off our 2021 wedding season with Emely and Drew’s wedding at the Embassy Suites in downtown Wilmington. I honestly wasn’t sure I would be able to make it since it was two weeks before my due date but thankfully little man decided to stay in and I am so glad! We lucked out with a warmer March day and they were able to have their ceremony outside overlooking the Cape Fear River. There was no shortage of cuteness as you will see from both the groom’s son and the bride’s niece, they loved posing for the camera. One of the funniest moments of the day for us was when the groom’s son was testing out the cake during the cake cutting unbeknownst to the bride and groom and you can see from the photos below what ensued.
