Megan & Brad’s story is one that has been ten years in the making. I remember when Megan met Brad while we were still in high school, and she was instantly in love with his truck. Yes, his green Chevy truck. For those of you who don’t know Megan, she is probably the most “Southern” all of my friends (she is yelling at me right now through her computer disputing this fact) but I love her for that. For instance, we were in the subway in New York City one time and were interrupted by this nice older lady who kindly said to us “You girls aren’t from around here are you”. I blame that encounter completely on Megan’s accent 🙂
Ok back to Megan and Brad. Not only was Megan in love with Brad’s truck, she was completely smitten with him. We were so young at the time and Brad was getting out of the military and moving home to Arkansas, that things at that time didn’t work out for them. Fast forward ten years, and Brad and Megan decided to give it another go, long distance from North Carolina to Arkansas.
After Megan’s first trip out to Arkansas to see Brad, she immediately came home and told me it was only a matter of time before she would be moving to be with him. She knew it was finally the right time for them and she was right. I have never seen Megan so happy in the almost fifteen years I have known her, and I couldn’t be more happy for her. I am so glad they are finally getting their happily ever after.
Their Princeton WV wedding ceremony was a small intimate ceremony with just family and close friends located on a gorgeous property. Megan’s son Blayne and Brad’s daughter Skylar were the cutest little attendants. The weather was perfect and as the sun went down, a beautiful super moon came up to end a perfect day. Megan and Brad, I am so glad I was able to capture and be a part of your wedding day, and so happy to be able to call you friends, I love you both! Congrats again, and for everyone else, enjoy Brad’s spectacular beard 🙂
