I knew from the moment I met Beth that we would get along amazingly, so when she asked me to photograph her and Tom’s Oaks at Salem wedding, I was thrilled. Beth and Tom are both extremely intelligent, but two of the most down to earth people I have ever met. We shared lots of laughs during their engagement session in Durham and toughed through the 95 degree heat!
Although their engagement session was hot, their wedding day was absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite photos from their ceremony showcases the beautiful oak tree where they had their ceremony under and perfectly blue, fluffy clouds. Some of my other favorites from their wedding are of Beth and her best friend/maid of honor Kristen, their bond is truly special and I loved being able to capture that throughout the day.
The day went very smoothly as Beth and Tom opted for a first look which allowed plenty of times for photos both before and after the wedding. As you will see from the reception photos, Damien Maass kept the dance floor full all night, and I witnessed some fantastic dance moves throughout the evening 🙂 They ended the perfect night with a beautiful sparkler exit. I hope you enjoy their Oaks at Salem wedding photos!
